This movie is nothing but 70 mins of what the heck is going on .. 15 mins into the movie I lost my interest to watch it further but I sat through waiting for a moment where everything will make sense . Reminds me of the ads for the film Weapons way back with Marc Webber and Nick Cannon.

Nothing is rooted in concrete reality, so the movie ends up being like an abstract perfume commercial, where it's just montages of people doing things, with little actual connection. The pot is stirred by a local magazine competition and a long standing rivalry. The film received mixed reviews from critics. 20 out of 50 found this helpful. A struggling musician falls for a charismatic burlesque dancer while getting entangled with hired guns and a border town gang bent on killing him. I guess it was just good enough acting that I won't give it a 1 but man this was a bad movie.

The lines between reality and fiction, and good and bad blur when both a nihilistic detective and a serial killer's affairs with a mysterious girl overlap. 31 of 48 people found this review helpful. A colorful neighborhood salon is threatened by a new addition. This movie featured some decent performances from its leads and it had a lot of potential, but the attempt with the overlapping storylines weighed it down. Was this review helpful? Unless you really, absolutely, find some sort of pleasure in knowingly wasting an hour of your life, then I would not recommend watching this "movie". It's incoherently dreadful - dialogue, story, acting, camera work. with more focus and fewer "arthouse" affectations, it couldve been a better movie. This is clearly a very low budget film and at just 73 minutes long including the credits "Choke" really scrapes the bottom of the barrel at times. 3 out of 28 found this helpful.

Low budget can be good but not this one. 4 out of 29 found this helpful. The double plot line didn't help. A young biologist suffering the loss of a child escapes suburbia in favor of the Australian bush. But you can always count on Family. As worthless and horrible as it can get.

I can't see your average youtuber audience giving this more than 5 minutes of attention, or even begin to comprehend what's happening were they to watch the whole thing. This film is art, it's unique, it's original A woman explores the dark side of online dating when she meets a mysterious man who engages her in a series of increasingly dangerous tests of her ability.

Performance-wise, the movie is redeemed a little bit by Sarah Brine, who is so fun and interesting to watch that she almost makes up for everything else about this sad effort. DeadTectives follows a team of hapless paranormal investigators on a reality TV series who go on a quest to Mexico's most haunted house in the pursuit of better ratings. I advise you not to waste your time watching this thing 10 stars easy! With Shane Ryan, Scott Butler, Sarah Brine, Lisa London. Ok, this one has a lot of very few things going on for it: all the montages you could squeeze in a movie of 93 minute, so many monologues and a bunch of random scenes that I think were supposed to have a meaning, but it flew right over my head sadly.
