Well we have the event for you!We’re looking for 50 volunteers to join us at Tough Mudder SydneyLocation: Glenworth Valley NSW (one hour north of Sydney)Tough Mudder is the premier obstacle course in the world and we have something for everyone who wants to volunteer. You may also have to report to an employment agency on a fortnightly basis. Volunteering: Beyond Blue are one of the exclusive ‘Headline Charities’, and we are hoping to raise over $150,000 from this years Festival.

Volunteers will receive a discounted entry to participate in next year’s event, and up to $30 in reimbursements to cover the costs for transport, parking, food and drinks. Sometimes working with vulnerable people you may have to go through a process and after it is done it is well worth it.My job was to spend time with different community members engaging in some of their interests like walking/sitting in the garden, chatting/listening about anything that sparked the conversation, sometimes helping other volunteers/workers doing craft/gardening and on some occasions just sitting with someone.Another place i have helped with a group of volunteers was at a community day care centre.
